Nope, nope it’s not a normal pattern. Nope, it’s really really not. That’s why it’s absolutely not for sale anywhere as a proper pattern.

But if you must, simply must, in your deepest soul, have a little knitted pencil to make your heart sing? Well…I did sort of make three videos where I spend a solid twenty minutes talking you through how I made mine. We start with what I used (yarn, innards), then cover what I did (the actual knitting bit, yes there are a couple of charts to make it easier), and end with how I put it all together (because that’s what makes it look just right).

Think of it as the lecture I would suddenly launch in to if you sat down beside me and said ‘oh, I love that little knitted pencil, how did you do that?!’ You know…in case that’s the sort of thing you might find useful!

Again, not a traditional pattern (and hence not being listed for sale right this moment). But any of my patreon folks can go watch the videos and download the charts, and that should make it easy to make one of your own!
