Shani is a lace and rib sock that is knit from the cuff down with a heel flap and gusset construction. Decreases on every round and every other round, create interesting lines that move at different angles. Shani is very stretchy, but is designed with a snug fit so the lace pattern is open and visible.

Please note that Handwerks Sock Plus 8 is classified by the manufacturer as a sport-weight yarn even though it knits to a fingering-weight gauge. Shani is designed for fingering-weight yarn.

Measurements
• Foot circumference: 7˝/18 cm, not stretched
• Leg circumference: 6.75˝/17 cm, not stretched
• Foot length: approximately 9.25˝/23.5 cm
Adjust foot length to fit a variety of sizes.

Gauge
30 stitches/44 rows = 4˝/10 cm in Stockinette stitch.

• 1 skein Handwerks Artisan Yarns & Textiles Sock Plus 8 in Oallieberry, 100% superwash Merino, 396 yds / 362 m per 4.24 oz/120 g skein, or another fingering weight yarn.
