Panels of 2/2 cables bordered with simple 1/1 cables define the four diagonal raglan lines of this textured unisex pullover. The 1/1 cables are repeated along the body and sleeves for visual interest throughout.

This sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down--back and forth in rows to the base of the crewneck, then in rounds to the hem. The cable panels continue down the body and along the center of each sleeve, with the rest of the body and sleeves worked in a pattern that combines simple 6-stitch knit columns separated by 1/1 cables. All the patterns flow continuously into the ribbing at the hem, cuffs, and neckband.

Knitted with rugged yarn at a fairly tight gauge, this pullover will withstand years of wear.

Note: Row gauge is important for achieving the correct armhole depth.
