Inspired by Dante’s Inferno, the Seven Rings Cowl is made with seven different yarns, which range from fingering to worsted. The varying fibers and weights provide a unique texture and drape. It’s an ideal project for stash busting luxury yarn left over from other projects or to try an array of fine yarns while only purchasing a single skein of each.

The depth of the cowl, while wonderful for keeping your neck warm, can also function as hood. However, if you live in a more clement area and don’t require the ability to use Seven Rings as a hood, the recommended worsted yarns could be replaced with sport or DK weights in order to achieve a smaller depth.
