Serenity Now!
Written for the Minnesota Yarn Shop Hop ’25: In the Garden, these socks are inspired by the Garden of Quiet Listening at Carleton College. They include design elements inspired by raked sand and a simple, repetitive heel technique to keep you calm as you knit.
Sizes:
• To fit women’s shoe size 7/8 (9/10). Work longer foot for larger sizes.
Gauge:
• 24sts=4in
You will need:
• US 3 (3.25mm) dpns (or your preferred needle for working a
small circumference, in the size needed to get gauge)
• Cable needle
• Yarn needle (for ends and grafting)
• 1 hank NoDa DK “Kasuga” (or 245 yards of a similar dk-weight yarn)
