Seraphina Top
If you purchase 5 patterns from my Ravelry Store at the same time (place them all in your cart before checking out), you will automatically receive the least expensive for free!
The wide saddle shoulders of this pretty summer top are worked in an intricate cable-and-lace motif. The body of the top is worked in simple Stockinette stitch with Slipped stitch stripes.
This top is worked from the top down. First, the saddle shoulders are worked flat. Then stitches for the upper back and upper front are picked up along the edges of saddles and then worked separately back and forth. Shoulders are shaped using short-rows. Then back and front are joined and the lower body is worked in the round in one piece to the lower edge.
