September Mood
SEPTEMBER MOOD is a large triangle shaped shawl which combines four contrasting colors. The two colored pattern is based on a little secret: a four-stitch-repeat in every other row. So you don’t have to count and there are no slipped stitches in a wrong side row. The pattern is easy peasy to memorize and perfect to play with colors! Altogether I would say: little effort, great effect.
The sample shown is using four skeins of fingering weight yarn in two contrasting color shades. The size of the shawl can be adapted easily. It is such a delight to knit and to wear!
The pattern is a recipe for “any weight” that can be translated across several yarn bases. It is very contemplative to knit, because there are a very few pattern rows to be memorized only.
Repetitive increases are giving the shawl its triangular shape. I am sure, you will love it!
