Sepal Socks
Sepals are the, typically, green parts that protect a developing flower bud. They often have a leaf-like appearance, hence the inspiration for the name for these socks. These socks feature a subtle changing lace pattern that works up easily and would look good in a variety of yarns from solid, semi-solid to slightly variegated yarns. Written up for two sizes, these lacy, top-down socks can be worked two at a time as well. The pattern features both written and charted instructions depending on your preference.
P.S. Don’t look too closely at mine, they are not exactly matched - apparently I couldn’t follow my own instructions for the second sock!
