Sebastien is a sailor sweater with a flower pattern around the neckline, at the bottom of the sweater and sleeves and between its stripes. It’s knitted from the top down and in the round. The main color uses two strands of yarn: one silk-mohair and one merino. Stripes are knitted with one strand of a very airy alpaca.
The neckline is knitted from a stretchy cast-on, with a solid colour yoke highlighted by a smatter of lacy flowers after the first increase round. Once the yoke is done, the sleeves stitches are left on hold while you knit the body alternating stripes and the flowery lace pattern. The sleeves are then knitted using this same stripes and lace pattern.

SÉBASTIEN est un pull rayé façon marinière, avec un motif de jours fleuris à l’encolure, au bas du pull et des manches, et entre les rayures. Il se tricote en « top down » entièrement en circulaire. La partie unie est tricotée avec deux fils, l’un en silk mohair, l’autre en mérinos, tandis que les rayures sont dans un fil à base d’alpaga très aérien. Mais tant au niveau matières qu’au niveau couleurs, Sébastien est idéal pour laisser libre cours à toutes les associations !
L’encolure se tricote à partir d’un montage élastique, et un premier motif de jours fleuris est tricoté après le premier tour d’augmentations du plastron. Le reste du plastron est uni
et rythmé par d’autres tours d’augmentations. Une fois le plastron terminé, des mailles sont mises en attente pour les manches, le temps de tricoter le corps du pull, avec les rayures et
les motifs de jours fleuris intercalés. Ensuite, les mailles mises en attente sont reprises pour tricoter les manches, en reprenant le motif de rayures et de jours fleuris du corps.
