Seaberry Shell
Pattern Description from Interweave Knits, Summer 2006: “A traditional leaf-and-bobble motif looks new when it’s knitted on oversize needles--the large and unexpected scale of the pattern lets us see the graceful lines of the pattern in a fresh way. Fashion designer Welan Chia likes to pair bulky knitting with fitted silhouettes for a playful take on classic feminine knitting patterns. This time, she’s worked a sleeveless top in a multistranded cotton/silk blend and added a garter-stitch collar that buttons at the side of the neck.”
