Meet the sixth addition to the Floral Collection, the Sea Aster Sweater—a stunning blend of nature and craft. Inspired by the delicate sea asters that grace Ireland’s shores, this design was created in collaboration with a talented Irish yarn dyer, Townhouse Yarns, who made a custom colourway for this pattern that beautifully captures the flower’s essence.

This top-down, fingering-weight yoke sweater features an intricate stranded colourwork sea aster motif that extends past the sleeve separation. You can choose between a straight or shaped waist and adjust the yoke, body, and sleeve lengths to suit your style.

If you are worried about long floats, the pattern contains support for mastering the Ladderback Jacquard method, including charts showing ladderback jacquard stitch placements. In addition, there are charts for both light and dark main colours, so you won’t have to invert the colours in your head while knitting.

To tie it all together, elegant twisted cables finish off the hem, cuffs, and neckband, adding a polished touch to this one-of-a-kind sweater.
