Scrumptious Shrug
A generous, easy to wear shrug created by making one large rectangle which is then joined at each cuff edge with a short seam. I used a Scheepjes Whirl and a matching Whirlette, and the colour gradient shows beautifully across the shrug. The pattern includes front post trebles, crossed trebles and clusters, so there is texture and interest throughout. The pattern is written in English and uses UK terms.

Scrumptious Shrug- Pattern Notes
The shrug is made of one large rectangle, which is joined to create a short sleeve seam at each cuff.
Work is turned at the end of each row.
Begin with the Whirl, taking the yarn from the outside and working in towards the darkest shade. When you have used up all of the Whirl, move to the matching Whirlette.
Instructions in brackets are worked the number of times specified eg x3
Instructions marked by asterisks are repeated the number of times specified
Crossed tr - to create a clear X shape, I worked the second tr in front of the first tr made.
