Pattern Designer: Corrado Lark
Pattern Romance: From Designer
As a designer, I love being able to give back through my work, so I designed this super scrappy, reversible hat for the KnitWorthy Collective campaign because anyone can knit it up in just a couple of nights. Scrappy Help Hat uses big needles and pretty much any yarn you have on hand. Scrappy Designs are great palate cleansers and can give you a boost when maybe you’re feeling uncreative or uninspired.

About KnitWorthy Collective:
The Knitworthy Collective is a group of knitters, designers, yarn dyers and other fiber enthusiasts who have partnered with a nonprofit organization called Huggable Happiness Corp.
Our mission: To come together as a community and make a tangible impact on impoverished youth, showing them that there are people — no matter their race, age, or gender — who share one thing in common, and who want to help and love them.
By using our creative and crafting abilities the Knitworthy Collective will publish “bundles” of knitting patterns for free in order to encourage others to give back and use their talents to better the communities around us.
Call To Action
In order to reach our goals and help so many in need, the Knitworthy Collective is asking for your help. To every knitter who downloads these collections: Please consider donating one finished object you create from this pattern to the Knitworthy Collective to help our cause.
Of course, if you’re moved to donate more than one object or an object not from the collection, we would graciously accept the generosity. Our team cannot personally knit enough items to support all of the children and organizations asking for our help. But if we come together as a community, we can help so many in need.
