Schrodinger's Hat
This Geeky hat is inspired by the Schrodinger’s cat thought experiment. The textured pattern is made up of squares that are half garter stitch and half stocking stitch, representing the cat in the box that could be both dead and alive.
The hat is for my Geek, he is a self-professed nerd and lover of all things science. I made socks for him with this design on them which he really liked, so when he asked for a thicker hat this was an obvious choice. He is so supportive of my knitting, designing and yarn obsession. I wanted an easy pattern that was both simple and easy to memorise, yet had a fun Geeky twist to it. This unisex hat will delight any science nerd in your life and even for the less scientific amongst us it a fun knit and look really great on.
