School Spirit Notebook Cover
Get ready for back-to-school with a customized notebook cover. Designed to fit over a standard 1 inch thick loose leaf notebook, this cozy can be done up a number of ways. With the availability of custom buttons, charms & ribbons, the possibilities are limitless.
Make one in school colors, embellished with emblems of the school mascot. Love bright colors? Make one in all your favorite colors & add coordinating buttons & charms.
But don’t let the children have all of the fun. These covers can be made to suit the tastes of older children & adults. Also, turn an inexpensive notebook into a one-of-a-kind scrapbook binder or journal.
This is an easy design consisting primarily of single crochet rows & a couple of treble & double crochet rows for ribbon embellishments. Once rows are completed, flaps are created on the left & right sides by folding to size & single crocheting the fold together.
The cover then slips onto the notebook and an additional single crocheted tether is tied around the notebook spine for added secure fit & serves as a wonderful way to showcase a couple of favorite charms or beads.
