Inspired by weather forecasting symbols and the unpredictable British weather, Scattered Showers is a large, cosy blanket shawl worked in beautiful pure Swedish Wool.

It features all-over stranded colour work from easy to read charts and with no more than two colours per row. It is also worked in the round with a steek, meaning no complicated purled colour work.

It’s a big project requiring 7 hanks of Ullcentrum sport weight wool, but the end result is a warming and hard wearing heirloom shawl that will survive the harshest of winters and evenings by the fire place!

Currently only available as a kit from Midwinter Yarns - we are looking in to the possibility of offering it as a downloadable pattern in the future.
