For this crochet dishcloth pattern, I used mercerized cotton, which results in a strong dishcloth, perfect for scrubbing pots and pans, sinks, floors, and other areas that could use a good cleaning!

If you prefer to use regular dishcloth cotton, you can do so, but you may need to adjust the starting chains to get the size that you want. A stitch multiple is provided.

MEASUREMENTS

Gauge: 4 sts = 1”.
Finished Size: 7.25” by 7.25”, However, it will stretch out quite a bit lengthwise. You can always make adjustments to the length or add an edging to help prevent it from stretching too much.

Yarn: Lion Brand Yarns - 24/7 Cotton (Medium, #4; 100% Mercerized Cotton; 3.5oz/100g; 186yds/170m) Color: Silver, 1 ball
Crochet Hook: H 5.00mm
Other: Scissors, Yarn Needle.
