Satori
SATORI means “englightenment” in Japanese. My late mother used to tell me that SA (“gap”) TORI
(“eliminate”) means to eliminate the gap between you and your SOURCE. To get closer to the SOURCE.
That is what englightenment means.
I designed this shawl dedicated to my sister friend who has gone through a major spiritual
transformation. She allowed me to be a witness to this amazing process and I wanted to do
something special to honor her soul.
SATORI consists of the simplicity of garter stitch and the elegant lace edging.
