Satomi
by Shannon Okey
This cardigan set’s name is also a woman’s name in Japan: in Japanese 聡 (sato) “wise” + 美 (mi) “beautiful”.
(The implication, of course, is that this sweater set is both clever and good-looking. It comes with one scarf style to get you started, plus a matching hat!)
It is highly customizable both in the knitting and the wearing with its modular collar options. Knit one body in a solid, plain color and go all out with the matching accessory pieces. Let it be your go-to sweater for every day!
Among the inspirations for Satomi are medieval gowns which often had removable sleeves -- perfect for mixing, matching and saving money on garment care.
