This statement dress coat uses basic crochet stitches for stunning visual effects and suits an Intermediate level crocheter. The Coat is made in four pieces which are blocked to approximate gauge, then embroidered with Sashiko-inspired surface crochet, then joined together mainly by crochet seaming.

Annotated photos are included amongst the written instructions, and charts are provided for embroidery for each section. Constructions schematics are provided for each piece and a measurement Schematic is provided for the finished garment.

Pattern Notes also include how to increase bust size or sleeve length to help customise your fit.
INCLUDES SUPPLEMENT PDF FOR EXTENDED SIZING TO 3XL AND 4XL and is described on this blog:

Embroidery extends up the Back Piece, both Front Pieces, Collar and Cuffs and this is the most challenging part of the design. Swatching is ESSENTIAL instructions are included to practice the embroidery technique before attempting the full coat.
