Sapin is the french word for “pine tree,” which surround our chalet in my corner of the French Alps. I’m lucky to enjoy a beautiful view of the forest from my studio, where I designed these socks.

This pattern was first designed for KnitCrate. As of Dec 13th, 2022, KnitCrate has closed and rights have reversed to me as designer.
The pattern is now available directly from designer Sylvie Damey, with tons of added step by step photos.
