Sanquhar Gloves in the Drum Pattern
Knitted gloves featuring a checkerboard of alternating diamonds. Knitted in the classic Drum pattern, these Sanquhar Gloves feature a bold graphic pattern in black and stark white.
These are a modern interpretation based on a study of a historical pair. The style originates in the town of Sanquhar in Dumfrieshire in southern Scotland.
Finished Size:
7¾ inches (19.7 cm) hand circumference

Wooly West Nordic Lites, 100% wool yarn, laceweight, 475 yards (434.3 m)/100 gram (3.5 oz) skein:
3 skeins, each of Kettle (MC) and Snow (CC)
Yarn Weight:
Needles: Needles, set of 5 double pointed, size 00 (1.75 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions:
Small amount of waste yarn for holding stitches; Stitch markers; Tapestry needle
