Sandy the Sea Turtle
Meet Sandy the Sea Turtle! Sandy loves spending the day surfing along the Australian shores with her friends while munching on seaweed. At night, she loves to find a quiet rock and gaze up at the beautiful night sky and twinkling stars.
Materials You Need:
-Worsted-weight yarn (4-ply) in two shades of green and two shades of brown. You’ll also need an accent color for the flower. (The U.K. equivalent is Aran, and AUS/NZ is 8 ply.) For my sea turtle, I used I Love This Yarn in the colors “Menthe”, “Mid Green”, “Dark Olive”, “Orchid”, and “Brown”. For the main shell color I used Red Heart Super Saver in the color “Warm Brown”. Unfortunately, this color has been discontinued.
-G (4 mm) crochet hook
-10.5 mm black safety eyes
-Fiberfill (or your stuffing of choice)

-Scissors
-Stitch marker
