Sandstone Beanie Crochet Pattern by Carolyn Calderon

A warm hat as the tall stitches are joined together to make a solid yet intricate fabric, using the linked double crochet stitch. A two row repeat that is easy to memorize and quick to make.

This sample is in Caron Macchiato Cakes. It’s listed as a #5 weight bulky yarn, but to me, it feels more like a #4 worsted weight. If you want to substitute the yarn, keep this in mind. I used a size 6.00 mm J/10 crochet hook.
