THIS SHAWL from Bronagh Miskelly is knitted in RiverKnits’ hand-dyed Nene 4 Ply yarn, pairing a solid grey shade with a vibrant variegated colourway. The relative widths of the grey and variegated stripes change as you move down the shawl, giving a colourwash effect. Bronagh’s shawl has a triangular shape, and sections of lace and stocking stitch; the lace pattern forms a pointed lower edge which should be pinned out when blocking.
