Salem Slouch
Check out the new Fantasy Collection from Bad Sheep Yarn if you are looking for a perfectly magical yarn/pattern pairing!
It has been said before that knitting is magic. We take a ball of yarn, wave some sticks around and transform it into a finished object. But the magic goes deeper than that. We have the power to think about comfort and love while knitting a prayer shawl or happiness and full futures while knitting a wedding vale. A baby sweater is filled with joy and the first day of school sweater with courage. I also have it on good authority that a cuss word here or there is part of the magic - they fill our finished objects with perseverance. I’m sure of it. Whether we create for ourselves or for others, we are working a special kind of magic when we knit. This hat honors the magical maker in all of us (and makes a darn tootin’ adorable hat to wear in late October).
