Notes from the Designer:
Sail Into The Sunset is a graceful knit that’s inspired by the beauty of evening skies over the sea. Gentle stitch patterns ripple like waves, creating a soothing and meditative project. Lightweight yet cozy, it’s perfect for draping over your shoulders or wrapping snugly around your neck. Relaxing to knit and elegant to wear, this pattern is ideal for both adventurous beginners and experienced knitters.
- The updated shawl version used approximately 2,720 yds/2,487 m total (1,360 yds/1,244 m per color).
- The pattern is a multiple of 8 + 4. It can be made wider or narrower by adding or subtracting multiples.
- Gauge is not crucial to this pattern, but it will affect yardage totals.
- The original version was knitted with the yarn held single. * The updated version is knitted using two strands held together throughout.
