This pattern can be found in issue one of Nomadic Knits, which is available to purchase in print through our website, select local yarn shops, or as a digital download through Ravelry (click the e-book link above).
Safe Haven is knit bottom-up, in the round to the underarms, where it is split to work back and forth with an adjustable-depth V-neck. Emma’s Yarn Super Silky gives it a lovely drape, and it feels refreshingly cool against the skin all day.
Sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL) 3XL, 4XL, 5XL, 6XL.
Finished Measurements: 33.75 (37.5, 41.75, 45.5, 49.75, 53.5) 57.75, 61.5, 65.75, 69.5”/ 84.5 (93.5, 104.5, 113.5, 124.5, 133.5) 144.5, 153.5, 164.5, 173.5cm.
To be worn with 1 - 2”/ 2.5 - 5cm of positive ease. See schematic in last picture, and additional measurements below.
Yarn: Emma’s Yarn Super Silky (fingering; 80% Merino, 20% Silk; 400 yards/ 366 meters per 100g); 600 (675, 750, 820, 895, 975) 1063, 1150, 1210,1305 yards/ 550 (617, 686, 750, 819, 892) 972, 1050, 1105, 1194 meters.
Gauge: 22 sts and 34 rounds = 4”/ 10cm in Stockinette stitch.
Needles: US 4/ 3.5mm or size to obtain gauge – 24”/ 60cm circular and 1 spare (DPN or any size circular); US 3/ 3.25mm or 1 size smaller than gauge needle; - 24”/ 60cm circular.
Notions: 4 stitch markers, tapestry needle.

A. Shoulder width: 5 (5.75, 6.25, 6.5, 7.5, 7.75) 8.75, 8.75, 9, 9”/ 12.5 (14.5, 15.5, 16, 18.5, 19.5) 22, 22, 22.5, 22.5cm.
