Rylands Cabled Hat
Due to changes to EU legislation with regard to Value Added Tax liability from 1st January 2015 I have decided to temporarily suspend pattern sales until it becomes clear what the best option for me will be. I will also be using this opportunity to develop some new patterns, revise layouts, make any amendments and take some new photos. I haven’t set a date for reopening my Ravelry store but it’s unlikely to be before early summer 2015. If you’d like to be notified when I reopen send my a personal message and I’ll add you to a list for earburning when I reopen.
There’s been some feedback that this hat knits up big. If you need to make it smaller then it is worked in multiples of 14 stitches so just take out a repeat or for a slouchier look cast on 14 fewer stitches and the increase up to the full stitch count for the main part of the hat
For reference the recommended yarn is a wool/acrylic which doesn’t block or stretch as much as a pure wool or an alpaca yarn so please take the characteristics of your yarn into account
ERRATA - the ribbing should be * K2 (p2, k2) x3; rep from * to end
