The idea for this shawl came about by letting the yarn tell me what it wants to be. Killington has a gorgeous sheen with killer stitch definition and gives an almost chiseled appearance to the soft fabric. It begged to be worked in my favorites—textured and botanical motifs.

Triangle begins at the center neck with a garter stitch tab, increasing every right-side row by 4 stitches and every wrong-side row by 2 stitches.

The main body features alternating bands of diagonal moss stitch and leaf motifs, followed by a simple ribbed border.

The leaf motif is created using a 3-from-1 stitch completed by working decreases on wrong-side rows.

Pattern is provided both in charted and written format.
