Running Water Scarf
This pattern has been inspired by the many bubbling streams running through the Dartmoor countryside where I live. Sometimes fast flowing, with bubbles turning to masses of foam and sometimes settling into still, deep pools. Winding through the landscape, over grey granite pebbles and across the brown iron-rich mud. Always temptingly clear in the glistening sunlight but always thrillingly cold to the touch.
A wide scarf worked flat from one end to the other using 4ply yarn. The scarf features a chevron design worked over solid and open stitch patterns with stripes and colour blocks.
Please note that this pattern is written in UK terms only.
