This pattern was originally designed exclusively for the TFA Year In Colour Club, September 2015, featuring the custom colour ‘Margarita’ in Tanis Fiber Arts Grey Label Merino/Apaca Chunky yarn.

Faced with the opportunity to design my very first pattern to feature our new chunky base I was overwhelmed by the importance of the task! I love this yarn with all of my heart and want to knit everything in it, but I needed to settle on just one thing, the one thing that I think best shows off this incredibly soft and cushy yarn. After much indecision, a cozy, textured cowl won out over all else because there is no better way to experience this yarn than to snuggle up with it around your face!
