Rose trellis cushion
The front of this cushion is knitted in 9 separate panels.
Four panels are knitted using the intarsia method, four panels have a simple cable design and one panel is knitted in moss stitch. The central rose is knitted separately and sewn on afterwards.
The back of the cushion is a fairisle design.
The finished cushion measures approx 44cm (17 in) square and will fit a 45 cm (18 in) square cushion pad.
You can use stash yarn for the contrast colours or if you are sticking to the pattern this is what you will need
Rowan Felted Tweed
3 x 50g balls clay
1 x 50g ball of each of the following:
Duck Egg, Peony, Amethyst, Celadon, Bilberry
6 x buttons
Pair each of 3.25mm & 3.75mm needles
cable needle
cushion pad
