I worked with 6 mm needles and worsted weight yarn.
Make any size flower by changing the yarn weight and needle size.

These easy knitted flowers are so easy
because they are made by simply knitting a short rectangle, approx. 5 - 8 inches long, and with garter stitch,
so there is no purl row,
only knit row,
repeated until the rectangle is the length desired.

Then cast off, and wind into a circle, secure with a few stitches, and voila, you have a knitted flower.

Add these to all your knitting projects where you would like a small accent detail.
