Ropes
The Ropes is a saddle shoulder sweater worked top-down seamlessly. The sweater features a fun cable design that is easy to knit but will keep you engaged from start to finish.
You will start with a two-color turtleneck, then work down to shoulder saddles and proceed with the Front and Back, working on a cable panel, creating a very rich texture on your sweater all the way down to a 2x2 rib hem.
The photo tutorial is included for those who are not familiar with this type of construction.

YARN
Main Yarn: (9, 9, 10, 10) (11, 11, 12, 12) skeins of Mondial Bio Lana , 100% wool in Light grey (#344). Worsted weight (115 yds/1¾ oz // 100 mts/50 g). Or any other wool/merino blend yarn that gives you the gauge.
For substitutions, avoid heavily variegated, fantasy or any fuzzy yarns. Make sure the yarn gives you a crisp stitch definition. Acrylic blends with wool or cotton will also work for this pattern.
Contrast Yarn: 1 skein of Mondial Bio Lana , 100% wool in any preferred color.
Note - the yardage is an estimate and may vary with the tension of your knitting and modifications you are making.
