Ronan is an oversized slip-over, knitted with two strands of yarn, a lambswool fingering and a silk mohair lace, for a very soft and warm result. It is entirely knitted in garter stitch and i-cord finish. It can be worn over a t-shirt or a shirt, or even over the Stephen tank top, with which it forms the perfect set!

4 – 4 – 5 – 5 – 6 – 6 – 7 – 7 skeins of Biches and Bûches Le petit silk & mohair (col. orange red). (Or any lace yarn).
Approximately (for each yarn): 722 – 802 – 924 – 1011 – 1120 – 1223 – 1361 – 1470 meters / 790 – 877 – 1011 – 1225 – 1338 – 1489 – 1608 yards.

Needles: 3, 3,5 and 4,5 mm / US 3, 4 and 7 circular needles, 80 cm length or size to meet gauge.
Markers (one of a different color), 2 removable markers, a cable needle, tapestry needle, scissors, stitch holders or scrap yarn.

Gauge: 20 sts and 40 rows = 10 cm / 4 inches in garter stitch worked flat and in the round on 4,5 mm / US 7 needles with both yarns held together, after blocking.

Chest circumference (fullest point): 110 – 120 – 130 – 140 – 150 – 160 – 170 – 180 cm / 43 ¼ - 47 ¼ - 51 ¼ - 55 – 59 – 63 – 67 – 70 ¾ inches.

To be worn with 30 - 40 cm / 11 ¾ - 15 ¾ inches of positive ease. To choose which size to fit, measure your chest circumference, add recommended or desired ease and knit the corresponding size in chest circumference (fullest point). (I wear size 3 with 42 cm / 16 ½ inches of positive ease).

Échantillon : tricoté au point mousse en aller-retour et en circulaire avec les aiguilles n°4,5 et les deux fils tenus ensemble : 20 mailles x 40 rangs pour un carré de 10 cm de côté après blocage léger.

30 à 40 cm d’aisance positive sont recommandés. Pour choisir quelle taille faire, mesurer son tour de poitrine, y ajouter l’aisance recommandée ou souhaitée, et tricoter la taille correspondante en tour de poitrine du pull C. Je porte la taille 3 avec 42 cm d’aisance positive.
