ROMIE is a removable hood. It is knitted in the round from the bottom up. We start with the neck section in the round, then the section around the face in a back and forth pattern. The hood is knitted in St st and reverse stitch, with a set of decreases. It is finished with a grafting at the top.

SIZES: 1 - 2 (kid - adult)
Circumference: 22 - 29.5 inches / 56 - 75 cm.
Total height: 20.5 - 25 inches / 52 - 64 cm.

GAUGE: 18 sts x 26 rows for 4x4 in or 10 x 10 cm in St st with larger needles.

YARN: the hood is knitted with DK/light worsted weight yarn.
Approximately 375 - 495 yards or 340 - 450 m - 3 skeins.

NOTIONS: needles sizes 4 mm/US 6 (rib), 4.5 mm/US 7 (St st), tapestry needle, 1 stitches marker.

NOTES: sample knitted in Sable des Laines du Valgaudemar (70% mérinos d’Arles, 30 % angora français - 150 m / 50 g) color lin size adult.

ROMIE est une capuche amovible. Elle se tricote en rond du bas vers le haut. On commence par la partie col en rond puis la partie autour du visage en aller/retour. La capuche est tricotée en jersey endroit et envers et un jeu de diminutions. Elle se termine par un grafting sur le haut.

ECHANTILLON : 18 m x 26 rgs pour 10 x 10 cm en jersey avec les aiguilles 4,5 mm.

LAINE : le modèle est tricoté avec un fil de type DK/light worsted.
Environ 340 - 450 m. Soit 3 - 3 pelotes.

MATERIEL : aiguilles circulaires 4 mm et 4,5 mm (câble de 65 cm), aiguille à laine et 1 anneau marqueur.
