This pattern uses traditional techniques to create a classic garment, inspired by the designer’s Shetland home.

The jumper is worked in the round from the bottom up using the stranded method. Steeks are used for the armholes and front neck shaping, and the shoulders are joined with a three-needle cast-off. Stitches are picked up at the armholes for the sleeves and the sleeves are worked in the round from the top down.

A step-by-step photographic guide to steeks is included in the magazine.
