Roberta knitting needle case
This needle case has been designed to carry not only knitting needles but accessories such as stitch holders. It is fully lined with cotton fabric and a strip of curtain tape stitched across the centre holds needles and other items in place; needle tips slip into pockets at the top and bottom to help keep them from falling out. The case can be folded or rolled up and secured with i-cord ties. The outside of the case features the words ‘Knit Kit’ in intarsia - but anyone who doesn’t enjoy colourwork could omit this motif and just knit a plain panel or some simple stripes.
The Patons yarn used to make the project is available in a range of lovely colours - but almost any DK yarn could be substituted and this is a great stash-buster.
