Rivulet Scarf
Pattern Description from Interweave Knits, Fall 2009: “Rebecca L. Daniels uses narrowly ribbed cables to create a dense sculptural scarf that has no right or wrong side. The Rivulet Scarf’s single rib condenses into a double-thick fabric that resembles double-sided stockinette cables.”
Finished Size 7½“ wide and 67” long
Yarn Mission Falls 1824 Wool (100% superwash wool; 85 yd 78 m/50 g): #010 russet, 9 balls. Yarn distributed by CNS Yarns.
Needles Size 9 (5.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Cable needle (cn); tapestry needle.
Notes:
- Working the cable pattern in 1x1 rib makes this scarf completely reversible.
- Two stitches at each edge are worked in garter stitch throughout.
