RIPPLE STITCH blanket
CROCHET BLANKET, CROCHET AFGHAN, CROCHET RIPPLE STITCH
Learn this easy RIPPLE STITCH,
and use it to make washcloths,
blankets,
afghans,
pillows,
table runners,
shawls,
shrugs,
scarves,
or jackets and vests!
Begin with a foundation chain in multiples of 14 + 3.
This stitch is similar to the chevron stitch,
but it leaves no holes and results in a closed texture,
whereas the chevron stitch will have some openings.
I used a 5.5 mm hook, and worsted weight yarn.
Approx. 800 yards (2 skeins) of Bernat Premium yarn for a baby blanket.
