Rijel’s Never Gonna Make These Socks
These socks are worked one at a time, from the top down using the Magic Loop method and an Eye of Partridge gusset heel. These socks are mirrors of one another - use the correct pattern and decreases for the appropriate foot. In case of using DPNs, assume that the Front needle is synonymous with Needles 1 & 2, and that the Back needle is synonymous with Needles 3 & 4.
The Story:
In trade for a lovely Bandana Cowl from Rijel at Black Market Wool, I was asked to make socks for her (despite her clear ability to make her own). Because I can’t knit the same type of socks twice (usually…) I decided to make a new pattern for Rijel that was all her own. And a pair she’d never make for herself since she hates top-down and gusset heels. Oh, and starting rows with purls.
