Ce patron est le premier d’une petite collection que j’ai appelé Riga et qui a été imaginée, il y a bientôt un an, à l’occasion d’un voyage en Lettonie en famille.

Ici vous trouverez un col en jacquard évasé pour réchauffer aussi vos épaules et une capelette / chauffe-épaules aussi, en jacquard, à porter aussi bien au coin du feu avec un bon bouquin ou part dessus votre gros manteau d’hiver.
Les motifs sont bien sur très inspirés des motifs traditionnels lettons et peuvent une bonne occasion de vous lancer dans la technique du jacquard à fils tirés ou flottants car avec très peu d’endroit ou il faut croiser les mailles et avec seulement deux couleurs.
Vous aborderez aussi d’autres techniques comme :

• le montage provisoire au crochet
• la tresse estonienne ou tresse latérale
• l’ourlet rabattu
• l’i-cord. Pour chaque techniques vous trouverez un lien vers une video ou un tutoriel photo.

De plus je vous donne quelques conseils pour bien démarrer.

J’ai aussi beaucoup travailler sur l’univers de ce patron afin de vous emmener dans une féérie enneigée. Donc vous trouverez tout au long du patron des petites anecdotes sur Riga ainsi que quelques illustrations reprenant certains bâtiments de la ville.

Le col a deux tailles de tour de cou : 46 et 52,5 cm et est pensé pour se glisser sous le manteau. Le tour de cou est volontairement serré pour que le col tienne bien en place.
Par exemple je fais 55 cm de tour de tête et je porte la taille 46 cm et cela passe largement, pas d’inquiétude.
Il conviendra aussi très bien à un enfant.
Pour le réaliser il vous faudra :

1. Couleur principale : 266, 320 m ou 2, 3 pelotes. J’ai utilisé le coloris Ocre.
2. Couleur contrastante : 184, 211 m ou 2 pelotes. J’ai utilisé le coloris Crème.

Le chauffe-épaule/ capelette a deux tailles à choisir en fonction de son tour de poitrine. Il est pensé pour se mettre par dessus le manteau donc a beaucoup d’aisance.
Pour le réaliser il vous faudra :

1. Couleur principale : 366, 440 m ou 3, 4 pelotes. J’ai utilisé le coloris Galet.
2. Couleur contrastante : 366, 440 m ou 3, 4 pelotes. J’ai utilisé le coloris Aurore.
