These are my all-time favourite slippers - both to knit and to wear. I’ve been making and wearing them for over a decade, and I can’t imagine ever being without a pair. My ride-or-die slippers are now updated for circular needles using the Magic Loop method, available in both garter stitch and stockinette versions.

Materials:
Aran weight yarn - 100 (160, 220) yards
Size US 7 (5 mm) 32” (80 cm) circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge Size US 7 (5 mm) needle for three-needle bind-off
Tapestry needle

Gauge:
4 sts = 1” in stockinette stitch

Finished Measurements:
Note: I find that garter stitch has a bit more stretch than stockinette, so I usually knit the smaller size when working the garter version. This allows for a little negative ease and a nice, snug fit.

Size Small - 6” circumference
Size Medium - 7” circumference
Size Large - 8” circumference
