Just like the sewing trim you remember, RicRac is a little bit retro, simple and fun, and looks great with everything.

The shawl is knit from the top down with a rounded garter body and a knitted on border with optional beads. You’ll love it!

The pattern includes both written and charted directions and includes instructions to customize the size of your shawl if you have more or less yardage available. It has been techedited and testknit.

RicRac was designed as a one-skein shawl featuring Zen Yarn Garden’s gorgeous Serenity Silk + yarn and debuted at TNNA last year. As shown, the shawl used almost a full a skein. Yarn substitutions or changes in gauge could affect the yardage required and the finished garment size. If substituting heavier yarn, for example, you may require more yardage to complete the edging.

Happy knitting!
