65, (70, 75)—yards chunky weight yarn. We used Cape May Fiber Co Chunky Merino Superwash (76yds/100G, 80% Superwash Merino Wool, 20% Nylon):

Nautical- navy with subtle speckles of green and purple (shown in the 1x1 Rib Version)
OR Cement Ship- white and light blue with speckles of green navy and blue (shown in the Mistake Rib Version)

  • US Size 11 (8mm) 16” (40.6 cm) circular knitting needle.
  • US Size 11 (8mm) double pointed needles- set of 5.
  • 4 stitch markers, 3 in one color and 1 in a contrast
  • tapestry needle
  • optional fur pom pom

Gauge
12 sts, 20 rows = 4” (10cm) in stockinette stitch on US Size 11 (8mm) knitting needle after blocking.
13 sts, 20 rows = 4” (10cm) in ribbing on US Size 11 (8mm) knitting needle unstretched.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
