Rhythm Section Socks
The socks are knitted using a seamless cast on, a short row heel and gusset shaping. The finished socks will result in a beautifully complex pattern that is not difficult at all.
These socks are knitted toe-up. Choose your size according to foot circumference; foot and leg lengths are easily adjusted. Don’t want to swatch? Simply cast on with your favorite sock needles and work the toe to 60, 72, or 84 stitches – whichever fits you best. Then work the size that corresponds to that stitch count, making sure that the colorwork gauge matches the toe gauge – you’ll probably need to go up a needle size to keep it consistent.
