- Cascade Yarns Cascade 220 (worsted weight; 100% Peruvian Highland wool; 220 yds/100g per hank): 1 hank each anis #8908 (A), white #8505 dyed
 with Berry Blue Kool-Aid®* (B), white #8505 (C) and blue Hawaii #9421 (D) for entire set
- Size 6 (4mm) double-point needles (set of 4) or size needed to obtain gauge
- Size 9 (5.5mm) 16-inch circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge
- Stitch marker

Gauge
Hat & Mitts 
20 sts and 36 rnds = 4 inches/10cm in garter st with smaller needles, blocked. 
18 sts and 31 rnds = 4 inches/10cm in 2x2 Rib with smaller needles, blocked. 
To save time, take time to check gauge.
Cowl 
13 sts and 24 rnds = 4 inches/10cm in garter st with larger needles and 2 strands held tog, blocked. 
15 sts and 19 rnds = 4 inches/10cm in 2x2 Rib with larger needles and 2 strands held tog, blocked.
