I’m usually pretty strict about not mixing dyers or brands in the same project. Well, this combination of yarns from Sew Happy Jane and Spincycle Yarns has totally changed my mind! Both of these
yarns are US manufactured, are slightly more rustic, and happen to work perfectly together for colorwork! I love chevrons and these remind me of reverb from an amplifier. This pattern looks great with color-changing yarn as the contrast color, but by no means is it necessary for great-looking cowl.
This cowl is worked seamlessly in the round, and the body can be worked from either the chart or the written instructions.
Color-changing yarns really shine in this pattern, but are not required to make a beautiful cowl! You can switch colors with each repeat and make a fade or color- blocked cowl, or use one tonal or variegated yarn, just make sure there’s contrast between your MC and your CC(s).
