NOTES ON FIT: For an oversized slipover look, make your vest with 6–12” of positive ease and make the body length to the armholes approximately 3” / 7.5 cm shorter than instructed, as shown in the Neutral version. For a closer fit suitable for layering under a coat, make your vest with 2-4” negative ease and make the body length to the armholes as specified in the instructions, as shown in the Bright version. The yarn quantities specified are sufficient to make the longer length as shown on the schematic.

GAUGE: 
17 stitches and 29 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Tweed Stitch pattern on larger needles. For accuracy, check gauge over at least 4” / 10 cm and adjust needle size if necessary.

Yarn: Mountain Mohair
Neutral Version: 3 (3, 3, 3, 4) (4, 4, 5, 5) skeins color A, 2 (2, 2, 2, 3) (3, 3, 3, 4) skeins each colors B and C.
Bright Version: 1 (1, 2, 2, 2) (2, 2, 2, 2) skein(s) Accent color for ribbed edgings, 2 (2, 2, 2, 3) (3, 3, 3, 4) skeins each colors A, B, and C.
Needles: US Size 8 (5 mm) 24” or 32” circular needles and US size 7 (4.5 mm) 16” circular needles or DPNS
Notions: Stitch holders, stitch marker, tapestry needle.
